China's November trade hits $599.2 bn, improving by 3% YoY

China's international trade in goods and services totalled approximately 4.28 trillion-yuan (~$599.2 billion) in November, reflecting a 3 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase.

 

In terms of US dollars, goods and services exports reached $332.8 billion and imports totalled $263.8 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $69 billion, said Chinese state-owned media citing State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE).

The exports of goods were valued at 2.15 trillion yuan (~$301 billion), while the import value of goods totalled about 1.57 trillion yuan (~219.8 billion), amounting to a surplus of 584.6 billion yuan.

In October, China's foreign trade expanded 4.6 per cent year on year (YoY) in yuan terms compared to a 0.7 per cent YoY increase recorded in September, according to the General Administration of Customs (GAC).
